Nursling Primary School learn about Recycling

Employees from Raymond Brown visited Nursling Primary School in March to undertake a lesson on recycling with the Year 2 students.

Our classroom lessons and school visits are designed to encourage children to understand and start thinking about recycling from an early age so that they know how to help the environment.

The lesson saw the children looking at what could be recycled at home, what materials are recycled into and it also gave them an insight into the waste industry and the what Raymond Brown recycles locally.

The children completed workbooks and a class activity decorating paper flowers and butterflies with what they had learned to create a school recycling flower which is on display at Nursling Recycling Facility.
